sc-shortcode-cleaner-clean-content-end–>Maryam Ghaddar works as both staff journalist and Online Editor/Community Manager at HOME for Lebanon magazine; she has also edited several articles for the publication in her spare time. Maryam has lived half her life in the U.S. and the other half in Lebanon. In the Spring of 2018, she completed an internship with Salzburg Global Seminar in Salzburg, Austria on the Communications and Marketing team. Prior to this, Maryam served as copy-editor for the online desk of the Daily Star newspaper, and also expanded her portfolio by writing articles for the Arts & Culture section. Having earned her bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Wyoming, she taught 3rd grade English in Saida, Lebanon for two years. Following that period, she decided to pursue a master’s degree in Media and Journalism Studies at the American University of Beirut. Maryam worked full-time as a news editor and anchorwoman at an English broadcast news station throughout her journey towards higher education. Maryam has a passion for reading and exploring the world’s wonders.
