Human Chain Lebanon – #weareone

The Lebanese people came together on Sunday, 27 October 2019 in an unprecedented act of unity and love for their nation.  From Tripoli to Tyre, a 170-kilometer chain of people was made possible for the world to see in the name of Lebanon’s success to be a free independent secular country! For several hours, under the hot midday sun, people of all ages came down to take someone’s hand in theirs, as they cheered, cried, laughed and chanted. They encouraged one another while standing tall and defiant. Everyone illuminated with positive vibes and determination! This initiative is clearly one of pure LOVE, PEACE and UNITY. Let’s keep going and make Lebanon the HOME we all deserve to have!
