We’ve seen this multitalented star as a comedian, weather reporter, TV personality and, more recently, one of the main hosts of Lebanon’s Dancing with the Stars (Arabic version of BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing) on MTV. Her beauty, charm and wit have enthralled audiences over the years, making her a household name in Lebanon. She opens up to HOME, revealing her candid houghts.

What is your definition of happiness?
Family
What is your greatest fear?
Death
What is the trait you most admire in others?
Humility. When you are humble and unpretentious, you are most likely to be a good person in every aspect.
What is your greatest extravagance?
My car. I got a Mercedes, which was the best present I ever got for myself.
What do you most value in friends?
Honesty. Well, they say you pick your friends, not family. Family sometimes hides the truth to be polite to you but with good friends they tell you what you need to hear.
Which talent would you most like to have?
To have an amazing voice and be an equally amazing stage performer, like Beyoncé. The full package!
If you could change one thing about your appearance what would it be?
My eyelashes. I wish they were longer and higher – they are sort of sleeping!
What do you consider your greatest achievement?
My daughter, Lea.
What is your greatest regret?
I always learn from mistakes so I don’t nactually have major regrets. Maybe being too trusting of others and expecting them to be like me.
Who is your hero or heroes in real life?
I would say my parents. I was born in the early 1980s during the peak of the civil war. I don’t know how my parents managed to raise us, work, keep things together and do a great job amid the chaos and dangers around them.
Which living person do you most admire?
My mom. She became a widow quite young, and with so much adversity thrown at her she remains strong and positive.
What is your most treasured possession?
My HOME, because it represents my family.
If you could invite four famous people to your dinner party, who would they be?
Beyoncé, Olivier Rousteing (Balmain designer), the Pope, and I am the fourth. They represent talent, fashion, and religion – the things that matter to me the most.
If you had the power to make one change, what would it be?
No more wars. There is no humanity left. There are humans but no humanity in dealing with one another. There needs to be a serious wake-up call to remind people to be humans again.
What item of make-up do you always carry and must have in your handbag?
Lipstick. I use it partly for the color but mainly as a moisturizer.
What is your best beauty or health tip?
To drink lots of water, and to be make-up free as much as possible – especially when I am off duty.

David Koma, Mugler and Alexandre Vauthier
What is your all-time favorite movie?
There’s Something About Mary. I love comedy!
What is your favourite book?
Paolo Coelho’s Eleven Minutes. While I like all his books, this one I liked in particular.
What is Lebanon for you, what is HOME for you?
Lebanon for me means HOME for all the Lebanese. We need to be patriotic and bring it back to its former glory. It needs to return to the way it was when GOD created it. HOME is a place that is a part of me and Lebanon is that place.
